There are many things that one can place their faith in. Even in church, there are many things. You can place your faith in the pastor, in the elder ship, in leaders, in people, in friends, and even in prophetic words. Now that's not to say that having faith in others is a bad thing. Even so, if you place your faith in God and in the word of God, your faith will be built on solid ground.
It is written that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Build the foundations of your faith on rock solid ground. Read the word of God.
