In this book, the author addresses these urgent issues and explains why one works and why the other does not. This is a timely and well-written book for our youth and singles of today! Parents, heads up, you might want to read this one as well!

In his book, Author Milton K. Smith, concisely and firmly addresses the delicate subject of relationships and Christian dating in a simple and understandable way. Drawing a parallel between tabernacle, in ancient Jewish times, and the human spirit, the author sets forth a standard that is undeniable and biblically based. This is an urgent subject that needs to be more readily addressed in our youth and within our culture, as the morals have declined into the thinking that casual dating and casual mannerisms are acceptable. Not so, in this intriguing book, the author sets forth a firm foundation for what it means to be holy in relationships and to live a life acceptable to God.

This thought provoking book touches the readers’s very soul in causing one to reassess their own views when it comes to dating. Through an educating tone, like a father to a son or daughter, the author, brilliantly and eloquently poses the right questions to ask one self when considering a mate. Explaining step by step what it means to be a person with a body, soul and spirit, the author, puts in layman’s terms what it means to be filled with the Spirit of God and that the attributes to be looking for in a mate might not be what you think. As the author explains, it is of high importance to address the spiritual, as well as the physical, causing the reader to gauge the relationships that are being considered.

Setting a firm biblical perspective and foundation for an acceptable, in order relationship, the author goes on to describe the process of a healthy progression of a relationship, once a mate has been chosen. Using the example of a house and the various rooms, the author, exemplifies what exactly you should look for in a mate and how to proceed. By highlighting what is truly important, the author gives the reader the correct biblical standpoint for choosing a mate. If only our youths were taught this from the beginning there would be much less confusion and heartache!

A highly recommend book and quick read, this book can be used as a ministering tool to youths, singles and parents, alike, no matter what the age. In today’s world, this is an urgent issue that the author has addressed in a non-offensive manner, yet is biblically sound. Thank you Milton for writing this informative and much needed book!

Taken from her home she loses everything, but she is yet to gain everything at the end of her road of travel. She is about to find true love in every sense of the word.

Author Debra Diaz elegantly and beautifully weaves an unforgettable story of true love, mirroring scenes taken from the scriptures, where young Alysia is tested by trials and tribulations back in a time where women were of little esteem, except for their purpose in child bearing. With the use of beautiful, descriptive and explosive imagery, biblical scenes come alive as the author uses the “Woman of Sin” to introduce the reader to a man called Jesus as He walked the earth and preached. Some called him ‘rabboni’ the word for ‘great teacher.’ Yet as the story unfolds you will see that he is more than a great teacher, for he can perform such miracles as healing a leper, healing the blind and the paralyzed, even raising the dead. He was the Son of God walking the earth, the lamb without sin, crucified for our sins so that we might live. The Price by Author Leon Newton

The play is about an arrogant millionaire who does not believe in God and Jesus Christ's Salvation for man. The millionaire believes man is the measure of all things and not God. He refuses to accept the fact he is in hell. He believes his paper work must have been misplace and this is all a mistake. The millionaire is told that God does not make mistakes. He demands Satan look into the matter at once and complains it's to hot in hell and asks Satan to turn the air conditioners on.

Satan tries to convince the millionaire there is no paper work mix up and hell is where he belongs. The millionaire not hearing any of it tells Satan he needs better customer service in hell because he would never hire him. Satan has the other residences of hell to give their testimonies of why they were in hell, but the millionaire is unconvinced.

That time will soon be here and millions upon millions of children will celebrate Halloween. So what is this holiday and celebration all about? Is it simply fun, costumes, candy and children going from door to door? Or is there something else behind the holiday and celebration of Halloween? What is the History of Halloween?

 

As kids growing up, both I and my sister celebrated Halloween. Dressing up, the costumes, the trick or treat lanterns and yes, the candy was all a part of the celebration. It was fun and as with all children, we eagerly awaited that day.

 

Many years passed and when I became a Christian I did extensive studies online about Halloween and was quite shocked at what I found and read. The Destructive Power Of Bitterness & Unforgiveness

We all occasionally deal with bitterness and unforgiveness. Many times we become offended at or by others and bitterness can set in. After a while unforgiveness can root and before we know it, things are starting to take on a whole new form. Bitterness once it sets up residence in a persons heart, well it soon invites it's relatives which are frustrations, hatred and even deeply rooted angers. When these things come forth, we can soon find our character and personality becoming very bad. The end results is that our life and even health can be affected.

 

The answer. Forgive those who have wronged you and let go of the situation. Besides life is to precious and beautiful to allow bitterness to make it seem dark.

 

Forgiveness is the heartbeat of God, and we as God's children should clothe ourselves with forgiveness.

Chicago Student Beat To Death

I just read a news story about students beating another student to death and the acts were caught on video. It seems that a cell phone shows footage of a group of teens viciously kicking, beating and striking a 16 year old honor student with splintered railroad ties in Chicago. Over the years we hear more and more about violence on campus's by students against both students and faculty.

 

As Christian's we need to cover our children, our teens, our schools and our college campus's with prayer. Please also pray for the family of the victim.
